Are the apartments furnished?
All apartments are furnished unless a request for an unfurnished apartment is made. Furnished apartments include a couch, chair, end table, coffee table, entertainment stand, and 42-inch TV in the common area. The bedrooms include a full size bed, night stand, desk, desk chair, and two dressers. Select floor plans include a dining table with chairs and/or bar stools. Appliances include stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator, washer, and dryer.
What does my rent installment include?
The rent installment includes the following utilities: internet, water, sewage, and trash. Furniture is also included at no additional cost. Residents are responsible for paying electric and gas, which will be charged to the Resident Portal and will be due on the first of every month.
What if I need roommates?
If you are unable to fill your unit yourself, we offer roommate matching. When you complete your application, you will answer questions about your personality and lifestyle that will be used to place you with roommates who are compatible.
How do I pay my rent?
We accept checks and money orders in the office. Payments can also be made online with e-check, debit card, credit card, and MoneyGram. Convenience fees may apply.
Are there any extra fees during the leasing process?
There is a $50 application fee and a $200 administration fee. Contact the leasing office for updated move-in fees.
Do I need a co-signer?
Yes, we require every resident to have a guarantor, which is a person who is also financially responsible for the lease. However, if you meet the rental income requirements, you may pay a security deposit of 1.5 times your monthly rental installment.
Can someone else take over my lease?
Yes, someone can take over your lease. There is a $500 fee to transfer the lease. The new resident must apply on our website and be approved to take over your lease. The current resident may not have a balance at the time of execution of the replacement lease.
Can I bring my pet?
Cats and dogs are permitted with proper registration at villageatbluegrass.petscreening.com. There is a $250 non-refundable pet fee and an additional $25 per month for pet rent. All pets must be spayed or neutered and up to date on all required vaccinations. There is a maximum of one pet per person and two pets per apartment. Breed and weight restrictions may apply.
What if I have a problem with an appliance or other emergency maintenance problem?
The Village at Bluegrass has 24-hour emergency maintenance. Maintenance staff are on-site Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm. Maintenance requests can be placed through the Resident Portal.
What should I bring?
You should bring bedding for a full size bed, bathroom accessories (shower curtain, towels, etc.), kitchen utensils (pots, pans, dishes, etc.), a wireless router, and lighting for your bedroom and living room.
